Our purpose

What we are here for. Three good reasons:

1. The basic attitude is decisive: Brands must have a purpose

These days, society expects brands to work towards solving the pressing problems of our time. Applicants decide to sign an employment contract depending on whether the company’s attitude matches their values. Employees today expect a meaningful work environment. Customers are increasingly buying brands they can identify with, and which have a clear stance. In short: Stance has become hard currency. That is why everyone needs to be conscious of the purpose of their own actions today – not least so they will still be in demand tomorrow. For only those who feel meaning themselves can convey meaning to others.

2. Organisations and individuals seek a compass in times of change

We live in a time of great change – economically, technologically and socially. Particularly in times of change and growth, organizations, just like people, need direction. If their guiding principle arises from their own attitude, from a powerful idea of the future, then organisations and people are successful from within themselves. We believe that a consultant should have a clear attitude and at the same time be as adaptable as possible. We approach our customers with this in mind. We speak frankly. But the biggest compliment for us is when we are considered part of the organization or a close confidant after a short time. This requires a good feel for people and situations, a down-to-earth attitude, and courage. With these characteristics, we make the difference. After all, the professional expertise is only the ticket that gets us through the door. How we interact with people is crucial. We specialize in dealing with a wide variety of people and meeting them exactly where they are. That’s why we only see ourselves secondarily as identity and brand specialists. More important than the significant course-setting events are the many day-to-day opportunities to prove a brand promise. In short: Doing.

5. Brands are not made in advertising, but by people.

No matter what promises marketing makes – in the end, it is people who determine our experiences with brands. Every employee can have a positive impact on the brand. The basic prerequisite: a clear, shared understanding of the brand’s DNA. This is exactly where we come in.

At Spall Identity, we combine two basic attitudes: Franconian down-to-earthness and a belief in feasibility from Silicon Valley.

We feel connected to this DNA at the core. But big ideas alone are not enough for us. We want to make big ideas “doable” in the everyday reality of corporate brands and personal brands. There is not one-size fits all blueprint for all projects. We immerse ourselves deeply in every person and every organisation. This is how we develop effective ideas: conceived from within, brought to the point and made possible.

We are always excited to apply our methodology to new companies and personalities.

To do this, we work our way into each industry in depth. We don’t polish brands on the surface or tinker with tiny levers. We have insight and access to the entire organisation or the entire personality of a person.

Sometimes this requires building something new based on their own identity. Workshop

We are a highly specialized team of ID consultants for brands and people. We maintain an open exchange with an intensive feedback culture in which everyone can contribute their ideas.
This inspires us to come up with new ideas, connections and projects off the beaten track. Everyone works in the appropriate environment for the task at hand. Whether at the desk at home, comfortably on the sofa, focussing in a a quite room or during a discussion at the standing table in the office. Mobile working has been with us since 2013.

 

Our office is located at the beautiful Pegnitzauen in Nuremberg-Johannis. The open-plan office invites exchange with other people and disciplines. We share our floor with occupational psychologists, for example. Sometimes it takes a meeting on our green roof terrace with a view of Nuremberg’s castle district before complexes become simple.
